it was a quincanera celebration!  All the cakes served a total of 430 guests, it was tiered with satellite sheet cakes on the side, plus additional sheet cakes were cut & served that stayed in the kitchen.  It was grand and she loved it!
I truly love making quincanera desserts/cakes!  The Hispanic community knows how to party and celebrate all stages of life.  Our family is currently hosting a Chilean exchange student and it was interesting to compare her quincanera party to the Mexican quincanera.
